On 16 October 2009, one hundred years to the day since the founding of the Club, SIMSL staff celebrated the occasion at a champagne reception at Aquatical House.
Gary Rynsard, CEO, proposed a toast and thanked the staff for their commitment and dedication which are the foundation of the service provided by the Club to its Members.
To mark the occasion, a special cake was commissioned in the shape of the Club's centenary logo. The logo was chosen last year following a competition for staff. The winning design was created by Piers Barclay, Building Administrator, pictured (left) cutting the cake with Gary Rynsard.
